Sit Down to Pee – Signs & Stickers for a Clean Toilet

Friendly signs and stickers that ask men to sit down to pee – for a cleaner, more hygienic toilet. A friendly sign says what nobody likes to say out loud: please take a seat. It works at home, in the office, in holiday rentals and in guest toilets – without a lecture, just a clear picture.

Why sit down to pee?

Standing up, splashes are unavoidable – invisible to the eye, but they end up on the seat, the floor and the walls. Sitting down keeps the toilet and the floor clean, means less cleaning and is simply considerate towards the next person. In Germany, many toilets have a small sign that asks guests to sit down; immi has been making these stickers for years.

Where to put the sign

  • On the toilet lid or the cistern – exactly where you look before you start.
  • At eye level next to the toilet or on the inside of the door.
  • In shared toilets (office, school, holiday rental) on every toilet, not just one.

Which sticker fits?

The classic is the white square sticker (98 × 98 mm) with the German line „Bitte im Sitzen pinkeln“ and the English „Take a seat please!“ – so local and international guests understand it. For offices and practices there is a round version in a stainless steel look (95 mm). All stickers are water-resistant, easy to apply and shipped from Germany.
